This is an interesting vehicle. It doesn't do much for mileage, and costs a fortune. About the only benefit from this vehicle is low emissions because you aren't going to save much at the pump. In fact, the maintenance costs probably out way the mileage benefits, on top of the 1000's more the vehicle costs to get it in hybrid form. Additionally, Lexus doesn't tell much about the internals of the vehicle, battery type, how much power the engine and electric motors generate independently. After some research, I write this vehicle off as a joke and a slap in the face to those of us that commute any distance and are looking for a break from gas prices and the reliance on fossil fuels thereby saving our precious environment. The Ford Escape SUV is a much better idea in almost every respect. |
